Ceremony is a high-end salon and day spa located in Bozeman, Montana.

Our mission is to create personal ceremonies that celebrate the ritual of self-love. Our approach is professional and personal, and we aim to meet our clients both where and how they are. Our work is driven by curiosity, creativity, and customization, and our services are grounded in detail and precision. Our culture is open, honest, and supportive, and we value communication, cohesion, and community. 

Our 3,100 sf facility, located in the up-and-coming Midtown district, includes a full spa with a boutique feel. We have four hair stations, four treatment rooms for massage and esthetics, four private spa cabins with infrared saunas, luxury relaxation room, steam showers, sunless tanning, apothecary, and much more.

    We are a place for people to enjoy some time for themselves. To take a pause in their day and create their own ceremony. Our guests walk away feeling like they have experienced a VIP treatment every appointment.

    We dress to impress. We don't have many rules, yet we expect you to come to work looking appropriate. Show us your personal style and keep it polished. Guests should always know you are part of the team when they walk into our space. 

    We keep our stations, tools, & treatment rooms cleaned and tidy at all times.

    We are passionate about advancing our education so that our services stay top notch. 

    We also make guest education a priority.

    We escort our guests around the salon, no pointing here!

    We respect our guests' time. We strive to maintain our schedules and notify guests if we are running behind. We also give respectful notice when needing to reschedule a guest.

Meet The Team

Open Positions

Massage Therapist

    • Adhere to all Ceremony policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

    • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and maturity at all times. 

    • Treat clients, team members, and vendors with respect and kindness, both in and outside of work. 

    • Contribute to all aspects of business operations, including cleaning and organizing as needed. 

    • Demonstrate initiative and accountability; arrive on time, practice effective time management.

    • Professionally analyze and assess clients to identify individual symptoms, preferences, and desired results including symptoms, medical history, & desired results 

    • Develop and propose client treatment plans, including treatments, duration, and frequency. 

    • Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body to provide courses of treatment for medical conditions and injuries or wellness maintenance.

    • Perform a variety of massage services, including but not limited to hot stone, prenatal, aromatherapy, lomi, lomi, deep tissue, Swedish and body scrubs and wraps; periodically perform off site chair massages. 

    • Operate quietly and respectfully in session, maintain a calming and professional voice and presence. 

    • Maintain strict hygiene standards and awareness of health and safety issues at all times. 

    • Actively promote the purchase and use of spa product lines. 

    • Maintain a clean work area, keep tools and equipment sanitized. 

    • Participate in and pursue professional development opportunities. 

    • Actively develop a broad knowledge base of all products and their usage.

    • Assist with incoming calls, scheduling clients. 

    • Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately.  

    • Update and maintain an accurate appointment calendar.

    • Update and maintain accurate client records.

    • Service pricing and commission is dependent upon productivity and experience.

    • Product commission on all retail/apothecary is 20% with option for qualifying quarterly bonus.

    • Minimum 500 hour of training and licensed in the state of Montana 

    • Minimum two years experience and/or willingness for training

Esthetician

    • Adhere to all Ceremony policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

    • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and maturity at all times. 

    • Treat clients, team members, and vendors with respect and kindness, both in and outside of work. 

    • Contribute to all aspects of business operations, including cleaning and organizing as needed. 

    • Demonstrate initiative and accountability; arrive on time, practice effective time management.

    • Analyze clients’ skincare concerns and needs; determine and recommend beauty treatments.

    • Learn and perfect new make-up approaches and techniques, create looks for formal events.

    • Administer treatments, perform scalp, neck, and face massages.

    • Demonstrate and sell skincare products.

    • Maintain clean work area, keep tools and equipment sanitized. 

    • Participate in and pursue professional development opportunities. 

    • Actively develop a broad knowledge base of all products and their usage.

    • Assist with incoming calls, scheduling clients 

    • Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately.  

    • Update and maintain accurate appointment calendar.

    • Update and maintain accurate client records.

    • Service pricing and commission is dependent upon productivity and experience, ranging from 35%-60%

    • Product commission is dependent upon volume, up to 20%.

    • Cosmetology license and required hours 

    • Minimum of two years experience unless wanting to apprentice

    • Must be available some saturdays

Hair Stylist

    • Adhere to all Ceremony policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

    • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and maturity at all times. 

    • Treat clients, team members, and vendors with respect and kindness, both in and outside of work. 

    • Contribute to all aspects of business operations, including cleaning and organizing as needed. 

    • Demonstrate initiative and accountability; arrive on time, practice effective time management.

    • Analyze clients’ hair, facial features, and needs; determine and recommend beauty treatments.

    • Learn and perfect new styles and techniques, create hairstyles for formal events.

    • Administer scalp and hair treatments, perform scalp and neck massages.

    • Trim, cut, and shave hair using clippers, scissors, trimmers, and razors.

    • Apply chemical setting, color, straightening, or curling solutions.

    • Use curlers, rollers, hot irons, and curling irons.

    • Demonstrate and sell styling products.

    • Maintain a clean work area, keep tools and equipment sanitized. 

    • Participate in and pursue professional development opportunities. 

    • Actively develop a broad knowledge base of all products and their usage.

    • Assist with incoming calls, scheduling clients.  

    • Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately.  

    • Update and maintain an accurate appointment calendar.

    • Update and maintain accurate client records.

    • Service pricing and commission is dependent upon productivity and experience, ranging from 40%-60%

    • Product commission is dependent upon volume, ranging from 20% on all products sold + quarterly bonus based on volume of sales.

    • Cosmetology license and required hours 

    • Minimum of two years experience unless wanting to apprentice

    • Must be available some saturdays

Once you've reviewed the position description and feel like Ceremony might be a good fit, submit your application via the form below and we'll contact you to schedule an initial meeting. For artist and therapist positions, we'll also arrange a technical interview to assess your skills and expertise.

If you advance to the next stage, you'll have a second interview with both Kirsten and Alaina. We'll send you a questionnaire 24 hours beforehand to help guide our discussion about the role, Ceremony's mission, and our core values. When we find the right match, we'll send an offer letter detailing your onboarding process, training and assisting schedule, compensation, and everything else you need to know about joining our team.
