Ceremony is a high-end salon and day spa located in Bozeman, Montana.
Our mission is to create personal ceremonies that celebrate the ritual of self-love. Our approach is professional and personal, and we aim to meet our clients both where and how they are. Our work is driven by curiosity, creativity, and customization, and our services are grounded in detail and precision. Our culture is open, honest, and supportive, and we value communication, cohesion, and community.
Our 3,100 sf facility, located in the up-and-coming Midtown district, includes a full spa with a boutique feel. We have four hair stations, four treatment rooms for massage and esthetics, four private spa cabins with infrared saunas, luxury relaxation room, steam showers, sunless tanning, apothecary, and much more.

Position Descriptions
Massage Therapist

Adhere to all Ceremony policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Maintain a high-level of professionalism and maturity at all times.
Treat clients, team members, and vendors with respect and kindness, both in and outside of work.
Contribute to all aspects of business operations, including cleaning and organizing as needed.
Demonstrate initiative and accountability; arrive on time, practice effective time management.

Professionally analyze and assess clients to identify individual symptoms, preferences, and desired results including symptoms, medical history, & desired results
Develop and propose client treatment plans, including treatments, duration, and frequency.
Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body to provide courses of treatment for medical conditions and injuries or wellness maintenance.
Perform a variety of massage services, including but not limited to hot stone, prenatal, aromatherapy, lomi, lomi, deep tissue, Swedish and body scrubs and wraps; periodically perform off site chair massages.
Operate quietly and respectfully in session, maintain a calming and professional voice and presence.
Maintain strict hygiene standards and awareness of health and safety issues at all times.
Actively promote the purchase and use of spa product lines.
Maintain a clean work area, keep tools and equipment sanitized.
Participate in and pursue professional development opportunities.
Actively develop a broad knowledge base of all products and their usage.

Apply chemical setting, color, straightening, or curling solutions.
Use curlers, rollers, hot irons, and curling irons.
Demonstrate and sell styling products.
Maintain a clean work area, keep tools and equipment sanitized.
